| BISHOP'S MESSAGE |
 |
A hundred and thirty years is a milestone in the glorious history of the Baldwin Girls’ High School and it is indeed a privilege for me and my wife to be a part of this landmark year!
A premier institution from its very inception, Baldwin bears testimony to the unwavering faith of its founders and their determination, even, in difficult times, to keep the torch of knowledge burning brightly. Today, the Baldwin Girls’ and Boys’ High schools have nine thousand pupils approximately on their rolls. In a move to meet the growing need of society for quality education and further the noble cause of our founders, we have, over the years, started seven other schools, colleges and training centers in Bangalore under our umbrella, namely the Methodist Church in India. I most humbly recognize the contributions of all the forerunner leaders, heads of institutions and staff who have toiled untiringly to enrich its legacy.
Baldwin Girls’ High school is in step with the modern world, understanding and adapting naturally to the changing times and equipping children suitably to keep pace with it.
